George R.R. Martin still hasn’t sent a final draft of his ridiculously anticipated Winds of Winter book to the printers but he’s already negotiating a new TV series. Universal Cable Productions will adapt Wild Cards for their network in the next two years. Martin has been writing and editing the twenty-two-book series over the past 30 years. There are literally thousands of stories in the series, but (in general) it deals with a virus that causes some people to become superhuman. There’s plenty of material to delve into and fans will assuredly binge the first few seasons after Game of Thrones ends in 2018 on HBO.
