In a hilarious segment on James Corden’s late night talk show, Adele sang songs from the Spice Girls and rapped a verse from Nicki Minaj. Needless to say, she killed it.
Nicki Minaj tweeted about it, first calling her Queen and then calling her “mad ratchett.” She put in enough friendly emoji’s to make us think she was being nice.
What’s even more impressive about all this is that because Adele rapped the verse, the song got onto iTunes Top 40. It’s now number 8 on the hip hop list.
The verse she’s rapping is by Nicki Minaj but the song it’s from (“Monster”) is actually by Kanye West. Kanye’s coming out with an album in February, and there’s now rumors that Adele’s going to drop a verse or two on some of the tracks. We’re kidding, but wouldn’t that be hilarious? The day Yeezus and Adele collaborate on an album is the day I die.
