Kung Fu Panda 3′s got a dream cast. Brian Cranston plays Po’s long lost father and J.K. Simmons voices the movie’s villain. And while that already sounds awesome, Rebel Wilson was going to voice Po’s love interest. I mean, that’s like the best casting decision in years. But because the production schedule was extended, Wilson had to give up the part. Or at least that’s what the execs at Dreamworks are saying. We sort of buy that explanation, but we think Wilson’s joke at the VMA’s must of played a part. Twitter was furious after she did a bit about police strippers in the wake of so many death’s because of police brutality. She got a lot of backlash for it and we wouldn’t be surprised if execs at Dreamworks fired her because of it. We can sort of see where they are coming from, but ultimately we think they made a major mistake getting rid of Rebel Wilson. They’ve got Kate Hudson replacing her. She can be funny but she’s not right for the part. She could never be as good as Rebel Wilson would’ve been. We’re a little dissapointed, to be honest. Kung Fu Panda 3 just got a little less awesome.
