“Glee” Ratings Down By 65%

Glee is struggling through it’s last 13 episode season. The once brilliant series has gone in a New Direction- a bad one. Last season we thought it hit rock bottom with an entire hour focussing on rescue dogs and acapella (we’re not even joking) but it seems things have gotten even worse. While the premiere was infinitely better than seasons 3, 4, and 5 the ratings have certainly taken a hit because of seasons 3, 4, and 5. Granted, the series has a new airdate (Friday instead of Thursday), but the show should not have gone down by such a horrifying number. It had a pathetic 2.3 million tune in for the premiere with a 0.7 rating for the critical 18-49 demographic. It’s ratings are down by 65% since last season’s opening. That’s abysmal!!! It was one of the lowest viewed episodes of the night and was easily the worst premiere of the series 5 seasons. Maybe the ratings can take a jump but it’s going to need a miracle to get out of this hole. It looks like Glee will end on a low note. A very low note.
